Seven:Twelve Engineering

Therefore, however you want people to treat you,
so treat them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- Matthew 7:12 (The Golden Rule)

Seven:Twelve Engineering is named after the Golden Rule, its one core value. The Golden Rule permeates our thoughts, our words, and our deeds.

Our core value and our practice distinctives make Seven:Twelve Engineering a unique place. Some of these distinctives cost, but we don't drop principle for profit.

Kindness, Cleanliness, and Fairness

We treat everyone kindly, and we act cleanly. We don't favor the rich or powerful. We respect you and recognize your inherent value.

Cost Honesty and Fair Pricing

We charge a fair price — one that enables us to make a living but doesn't gouge you. We make our costs available to you. You never pay more than twice what it costs us to make any product. We designate some of our profit toward cost reduction, which we pass to you.

Fantastic Quality

Crossbeams is meant to last for generations. If, for any reason, you believe a purchased part lacks quality, let us know. We will evaluate the case, and almost always provide a replacement or refund.

Protect Nature

We strive to preserve natural resources. Fantastic quality protects nature, because you don't need to throw away a cheap toy after a month of use. We hire the necessary staff to only buy used computers, which roughly halves a normal company's environmental impact per computer. We offer our kits with a no-box option to reduce waste and your cost.

Local Manufacturing

We manufacture locally. Currently, all products are made and marketed in the U.S.A. When sales to other countries get high enough and entry-barriers are low enough, we'll manufacture locally for them too.

We've only listed the distinctives that touch you and Crossbeams. We're deeper. To find out more about Seven:Twelve Engineering, visit the company website.
